HOUSTON<\/b> – 25-year-old Cassandra Nickcole Damper is facing additional charges after a video surfaced of her shooting a man in the head while playing with guns in a vehicle.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, police responded to a shooting case that happened at the Valero gas station on Almeda Road near Southmore Boulevard around 2:25 a.m.<\/p>\n

Damper was present there with a man and they were checking the guns they had when she accidentally fired due to which the man sustained a gunshot wound to his head.<\/p>\n

He was rushed to Ben Taub Hospital in serious condition.<\/p>\n

Both of them were taken into custody for an investigation and Damper attempted to destroy the proof by wiping off any gunshot residue that may have been present.<\/p>\n

She has been charged with aggravated assault bodily injury and tampering with evidence along with other charges.<\/p>\n

It was confirmed by family members that the victim is now in stable condition.<\/p>\n
