On Wednesday, a Drug Enforcement Agency plane crashed and left one individual with injuries.<\/p>\n

The crash site was west Houston near Sugar Land. The plane was scheduled to land at Sugar Land Regional Airport at around 3 p.m. but it crashed into a power line prior to striking 2 vehicles.<\/p>\n

There were 3 individuals onboard for a training mission.<\/p>\n

Lynn Lunsford, Federal Aviation Administration spokesman said that the pilot reported about the issue with the engine prior to the crash.<\/p>\n

Fuel was leaking but it didn\u2019t catch fire. The pilot attempted to land on the road but didn\u2019t succeed.<\/p>\n

Nehls was one of the individuals whose car was hit by the plane. He said, \u201cImagine you\u2019re just driving down Voss Road in Fort Bend County and all the sudden an aircraft strikes your vehicle. That would be enough to put me in cardiac arrest. We are very fortunate that this was not much more catastrophic than what it was.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oniel Kurup was the other person whose Tesla was struck by the plane. He posted images of the accident on Facebook. He wrote on his timeline, \u201cWant to let all my friends and family know that Aarav and I are completely fine. GOD and this CAR truly saved us today. Not a scratch on us. No one believed me when I called them to let them know a plane crashed into me. Tesla, people thought it was a prank call.\u201d<\/p>\n

The crash caused electricity issue in the neighborhood and it lost power.<\/p>\n

A resident of the area, Dhuha Bazzaz, described the scene as horrible. He told that people were out of their homes when the incident happened.<\/p>\n

Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office reported another plane crash; the site was Houston Southwest Airport in Arcola. There was no one in the plane other than the pilot and luckily he didn\u2019t sustain any injury.<\/p>\n
