South Houston Car Crash Leaves 2 Dead And One Injured

According to the Houston Police Department, 2 individuals died and 1 sustained injuries after a motorist ran a stop sign in south Houston on Monday and caused an accident.

A gray colored Toyota Corolla was going at 3700 Wilmington Street around 11 a.m. when a blue Dodge Caliber ran a stop sign at Scott Street and hit it.

The female behind the wheel of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the accident spot. The man who was riding as a passenger died at Ben Taub General Hospital.

The person behind the wheel of the Dodge was hospitalized for injuries he sustained in the accident.

The driver of the Dodge has not been charged yet.
