Victim Identified In Fatal Rollover Accident
CORPUS CHRISTI – The victim of a fatal rollover accident was identified as 39-year old Hector Gonzales, Jr. of Houston by the Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The early-morning crash took place in the 14100 block of Whitecap Boulevard near Gypsy Street just before 3 a.m. Friday.
Gonzales died at the scene, and his pickup truck was still running when police arrived. According to the investigating team, it looked like he was speeding when he hit a median and flipped over. His body was ejected from the truck into a field.
The incident is still under investigation.
