Hurst Rollover Crash Leaves 3 Dead
HURST – 3 individuals died in an accident when the pickup they were travelling in rolled over a highway embankment in Hurst, told MedStar. The incident happened on late Saturday.
According to Matt Zavadsky, MedStar spokesman, the pickup wrecked near the Northeast Loop 820 and Texas 121 interchange at around 11:40 a.m. 2 men and 1 woman, who were travelling in it were pronounced dead at the accident spot.
Noother vehicle was involved in the accident and the victims had not been identified as of Saturday night.
According to a report by WFAA News, a passenger in another motor vehicle indicated there had been hydroplaning on the highway ahead of the accident.
As a result of the accident, the Loop 820 traffic lanes and all but one Texas 121 lane were shut down for almost 4 hours for investigation. Later, Richland Hills police tweeted that all lanes had opened again as of 4:15 p.m.
