60-Year-Old Central Texas Woman Dies In One-Vehicle Crash On Interstate 45

CENTERVILLE, Texas – On Thursday, 60-year-old Hermelinda Johnson died in a car crash which happened when her vehicle got out of control and rolled over several times.

The accident occurred on Interstate 45 just north of Centerville and the woman died at the accident spot due to life-threatening injuries she sustained in the accident.

Johnson was behind the wheel of a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer and was travelling south on the highway when the left rear tire blew out around 6:45 p.m. due to which the SUV got out of control.

The vehicle rolled over seven or eight times. Johnson was wearing a seat belt but she was thrown out of the vehicle due to the force.
