Minnesota Woman Critically Injured In Texas Crash

DALHART, Texas – A Minnesota woman is in serious condition after she sustained injuries in a Texas accident due to which 3 individuals died and 4 others sustained serious injuries.

According to the authorities, a Chevrolet Tahoe carrying the 3 Arizona residents was going at high rate of speed for road conditions and spun into oncoming traffic, hitting a 2012 Buick.

The adults who died in the accident were identified as 34-year-old Paz Alejandra Rocha and 38-year-old Gilberto Garcia Perez. The name of the boy was not released.

On Sunday, the Texas Department of Public Safety said that 5 others sustained injuries, including a 68-year-old Minnesota woman who was in serious condition at an Amarillo hospital. An 11-month-old boy was also injured in the accident.

The accident occurred on Saturday morning near Dalhart. A strong winter cold front had dumped almost 4 inches of snow in the area.
